Ultrasonic Level Transducer
Water level monitoring is the basis of the assessment of hydrological risks and the management of the water resource. TLU ultrasonic hydrometric sensor represents an effective, affordable and reliable solution. It ensures excellent performance for what concerns accuracy, thanks to a system of self-correction of the hydrometric measurement. Indeed, by means of an integrated temperature sensor, it can easily take into account the variation of the speed of sound as a function of the density of the air. The measurement principle is based above the emission of an ultrasonic frequency pulse in the direction of the surface of interest and on the subsequent reception of the reflected wave.
The TLU is a non-contact instrument. Furthermore, it allows to speed up and simplify the installation and maintenance steps. The sensor is supplied complete with power and signal cable (12m).

Radar Level Transducer
The radar technology of TLR-level sensors is the most suitable solution for applications requiring high precision standards of measurement, as it guarantees high performances in terms of accuracy and resolution.
The measuring principle is not affected by variations in atmospheric temperature and by suspended dust between the sensor and the measured surface, ensuring the acquisition of a reliable data even in extreme environmental conditions. The measurement principle is based above the emission of a radar impulse in the direction of the surface of interest and on the subsequent reception of the reflected wave. The distance between the sensor and the measuring surface is calculated from the signal time of flight.
The TLR is a non-contact instrument. Furthermore, it allows to speed up and simplify the installation and maintenance steps. The sensor is available with the digital outputs SDI12 and RS485, or 4-20 mA, and is supplied with power and signal cable (12m).

Conventional Water level sensor
Measure principle: A conventional float system drives an absolute shaft encoder with digital output in Gray code(25 bits). A microprocessor based electronic module provides different outputs proportional to the hydrometric level.
Intelligent sensor: The transducer belongs to the intelligent sensor family and allows, among other functions, the correct control functioning, data pre-processing, electrical signal A/D conversion etc. These characteristics warrant excellent accuracy, long-term stability and high data reliability. It can be provided with an interface for data recording on  removable memory card  which can downloaded  by a portable PC or withdrawn for next  reading in the office.
Laboratory calibration: The sensor can be supplied with a SIAP+MICROS calibration certificate or with calibration certificates issues by external primary metrological services . Housing materials and International standards: A compact and robust die casting housing grants a IP 67 protection .
The transducer complies with CE EMC standards, it’s protected against over tensions and is fully compliant within the WMO (World Meteorological Organization) standards.
